Speech Therapy for Children
​We provide personalised, evidence-based therapy to support children’s communication, speech and literacy development. Our approach is playful, child-led and designed to help children thrive.
  • Speech Sound Disorders: We work with clients who have difficulty saying words or sounds correctly. This can include problems with articulation (sound production), phonology (sound patterns), Childhood Apraxia of Speech (deficits of motor planning), and/or dysarthria (physiological deficits, including Parkinson's disease).
  • Reading and spelling: We work with clients who have difficulty learning to read and spell. We offer the evidence-based, high-quality Sounds-Write phonics program as our primary intervention for clients who have fallen behind in their reading and spelling.
  • Early language/communication skills: We also provide support for children under 5 who are having difficulty saying their first words, putting words together, being understood by others and expressing their wants and needs. 
Speech Therapy for Adults
​We offer functional, evidence-based speech pathology services for adults of all ages. Whether you're navigating communication or swallowing changes due to a medical condition, injury or lifelong disability, our team is here to support you.
We provide assessment and therapy for:
  • Swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)
  • Aphasia and other language difficulties
  • Voice disorders
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Fee schedule

At our clinic on Bribie Island, we offer a range of speech therapy services, with fees outlined below.

  • Initial Consultation & Assessment: 60 minutes - $242.48
  • Short Appointment: 30 minutes - $129.32
  • Standard Appointment: 45 minutes - $193.99
  • Extended Appointment: 60 minutes - $242.48
Fees are based on an hourly rate of $193.99. All fees include non face-to-face time (planning, preparation, analysis of progress and documentation). 

Allied Health Assistant 
  • Short Appointment: 30 minutes - $78.48
  • Standard Appointment: 45 minutes - $117.73
  • Extended Appointment: 60 minutes - $156.97
Fees are based on an hourly rate of $86.79. All fees include non face-to-face time for feedback and planning with the speech pathologist.

All other items (report writing, stakeholder meetings, custom resource development, etc.) will be billed at the speech pathologist rate of $193.99 or Allied Health Assistant rate of $86.79.
